First match ever in Consol Energy Center.

Before the game it was a great tribute for John Barbero. R.I.P.
And Later on Mario Went out to drop some water from the ice that got demolished in the Civic Arena. Really Epic.

The 1st period was very good, it felt like it was a Playoff match. I had a lot of problems with NHL Center Ice so i missed a bit of the first period, but what i saw was that Flyers rookie goalie Bobrovsky was totaly amazing. Great saves.

In the 2nd period it all started to head downhill, Flyers scored twice and had a two goal lead against the Penguins. Penguins were down by two goals against there rivals Flyers in the Consol Energy Center.

In the 3rd period Tyler Kennedy Scored the Penguins first goal ever in the Consol Energy Center. Then Penguins got a great chance to make the game even again, but Flyers got the puck and scored on a shorthanded goal... But on the same powerplay, Michalek Rips one and Gogo Touches it and Pens score!. 2-3. One goal away. Fleury made a unbelievable save at the end of the period. under 2 min left of the game and Flyers take a penalty. Penguins can tie the game for the first time in this game. But they fail to score and the match ends.

Pens lose 2-3 in the first game ever in Consol Energy Center. Just like losing vs. Canadiens at the first Civic Arena game.
