They see that the Gonchar goal was a goal. then they go out and say, Goal to Pittsburgh, but a penalty to gonchar, and we will rewind the clock to the goal. WHAT?!?. First goal yes!, then why did gonchar get a penalty for nothing, and a penalty that has not happend yet in the rewinded time?. WTF?!?. And it was the ref's 1000 game, Fuck you Faggot!. But Penguins killed the Penalty, and Gonchar came out of the box, and SCORED! This was so awesome that i said YEAH!, and pumped my fist high in the air!.

Year in Review Part 2!

Year in Review Part 2. (The Era of Dan Bylsma)

After the GM Ray Shero Fired the old Coach Michel Therrien. Pittsburgh were left without a coach in the middle of the season, no playoff spot, left on the 10th position in the eastern conference. Then Ray Shero made the coach of Baby Penguins Dan Bylsma as Head Coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins. The fans that did not watch Baby Penguins matches, they didn't have no ide who Dan Bylsma was. they only knew that he was a former player for the Anaheim Ducks. His first match as coach for the Pittsburgh Penguins was against New York Islanders. The match ended with a loss after a Shootout, but still Penguins got 1p. Now every match was a must win.

The next match was against Montreal, Penguins won with 5-4. Malkin and Fedotenko got a 2p night. and Bylsma was unbeaten under regulation time. The era of Bylsma has just started.

Then it was time for Flyers (Cryers). Only Bylsma's third match and it was time to face their biggest rivals. The match ended with a win for the Pittsburgh Penguins 5-4. Penguins gameplan became much more turnovers and attack. Very effective. next game was against another rival, this time it was the Washington Capitals (crapitals).
I remember this game it was an early game. i watched the match when i got a haircut. i remember this because this was the last time i cut my hair until the end of the Playoffs. i was very sad because Washington had won us now three times. we wanted to show them that we where better, but that had to wait.

Then it was time for the winning streak. We won 7 games in a row. a Win against Islanders with 1-0. Then a win in overtime against Blackhawks 5-4, a remember Malkins overtime goal, Such a nice Slapper.

Then a win against Dallas Stars with 4-1, Malkin had a 3p night, 1 goal and 2 assists. Win against Tampa Bay Lightning 3-1, Win against Florida with 4-1, Tyler Kennedy got a two goal night, Win Against Washington Capitals 4-3 after a Shootout, Fleury's saves in overtime were AWESOME!

Next Match we lost against Blue Jackets 4-3 after a Shootout, but we made a GREAT comeback, in the third period we scored 3 goals to tie the game but still 1 point. then we lost against Ottawa after a shootout with 4-3 and again still 1 point. Next game was against Boston Bruins, i really remember this game, it was an early game. and i loved this game. One of the most awesome season games that year. we won with 6-4.

Next game was against Atlanta, and Penguins won 6-2 Gonchar a 4 point night, and Malkin a 5 point night.

Next match, Win against the Kings 4-1, The two Headed Monster (Crosby & Malkin) got 2 points each. then came a loss against Flyers 1-3. then a win against Calgary Flames with 2-0, i remember this match because of Malkins very nice pass to Gill that scored and it was when Calgary had taken out their goalie to have an extra skater and we could not score on a opennet.

Then a win over New York Rangers 4-3, Fedotenko got a 3 point night. Win Against New Jersey Devils with 6-1, not every day Penguins just kills Devils in a match.

Then we lost against Carolina in overtime, 2-3 still one point!. then came a loss against the Panthers 2-4. Then the 12 goals in two nights party started. Penguins won against Tampa bay with 6-4, Staal got a 3 point night, and this win guaranteed Penguins a Playoff Spot We are back Baby!. and won against Islanders with 6-1. Then Penguins Won Against Montreal with 3-1, two shorthanded goals in one night for the win. And Malkin won Art Ross! YAY! The forth player to win Art ross in Penguins, (Mario Lemieux, Jaromir Jagr, Sidney Crosby and Now Evgeni Malkin. And Pittsburgh Penguins has the record with 13 Art Ross Trophys in only 23 years) "take that fucking Ovie!" (the same night Rangers beat Flyers, that made us 4th in the Eastern Confernce to clinch home advantage).

Dan Bylsma after taking over the penguins, he's record was (18-3-4). Unbelievable record, Bylsma took Penguins from 10th place to 4th place in 2 months. Now we are in the Playoffs against The Flyers!. to be continued in part 3.

A Season that started in Stockholm, Sweden. The land that i live in, my brother saw it live in the building. It all started in stockholm and it would not end until june!

Year in Review Part 1

Pittsburgh Penguins Start of the Year 2009. Year in Review Part 1

The year started like shit, lost to Boston with 4-2. Lost to Florida Panthers at Pittsburgh with 6-1 and lost against Rangers at MSG with 4-0.

Then Finally we started the new year with Class, we won Atlanta at home with 3-0, Malkin got 3 assist and was behind every goal scored, Sykora scored 2 goals, and Crosby the last one.

First Win of the Year


Then we lost to more matches both with the same score, 5-3 against Nashville and Colorado. After that we went to Philadelphia to face are rivals the Flyers (Cryers) and won the match 4-2, after goals by Kennedy, Malkin, Staal and Cooke. Then we went back to Pittsburgh to face are other rivals Washington Capitals. we lost by 6-3.

We hade to bounce back from that loss and we did that by winning at home against Anaheim with 3-1 after Cooke scored 2 goals and Malkin got two points for the assist to those goals. and Hal Gill putting the final nail in the coffin with the 3-1 goal. Next up was another rivalry. NY Rangers. was a wonderful night because Fleury did not let in any goals, and Penguins won with 3-0, Goals by Minard, Kennedy and Sykora.

Next up was the Staal Wars at Mellon Arena. Now that sounds awesome, but the pens lost to Carolina with 2-1.



Then it was time for the All-Star Weekend. Crosby and Malkin was voted in to the All-Star match by fans, but unfortunately Crosby was injured and could not play, but showed up to the all-star weekend to be a good sport, not like Lidstrom in Detroit that got Suspended for not showing upp. Malkin won the Target Competition. on his first try he got 4 out of 4, and on his final try vs. Heatley in sudden and won with 3 out of 4 hits. then in the All-Star game Malkin got one goal and one assist. For the most part i Really hate Ovie, but i could not stop laughing when Malkin took out props for Ovie. The only time that i did not hate Ovie.

After the All-Star Weekend Continued the Season with Penguins vs. Rangers in Mellon Arena Staal Wars. Penguins won the match with a 6-2 victury. Crosby got one goal and 2 assist, Malkin Got 1 assist, Sykora got two Goals, J.Staal one goal, Letang 2 goals. Then it went bad again for the penguins. Losing to New Jersey in overtime 4-3, Losing to Toronto with 5-4 and losing to Montreal with 4-2. Now we were in a slump heading back to Mellon arena to face Tampa Bay. But one man saved us in overtime, MALKIN!. i still remember the goal

Then are 2nd win in 2 matches came against the Blue Jackets 4-1. Crosby 3 Points, Letang 2 Goals, Sykora 1 Goal, Malkin 1 Assist. Then we were about to face Detroit Red Wings & The Idiot Hossa that left us because he thought that he would have a bigger chans to win the Stanley Cup, the game did not go so well, we lost 3-0. But we came back and won against San Jose Sharks in a Penalty Shootout, it's not often that The Penguins get a win over the sharks specially when Mario Lemieux is not playing anymore. Bill Thomas, a Pittsburgh Native makes his first goal in a Penguins Jersey and what a goal it was. it went to Penalty Shots, only one to score was Crosby and Fleury with an awesome save at the end.

Next Game was against the Toronto Maple Leafs. When we went in to this game we said, "the penguins will have an easy victory over Toronto" but we were wrong. The match ended 6-2 for the Toronto Maple Leafs after we had the lead and let in 5 goals in the third period. Next day coach Michel Therrien got fired. They brought up the Coach from Baby Penguins to be Pittsburgh Penguins Head Coach, His name was Dan Bylsma. first every body was like "dan who?" but the things he did for the Penguins made him King Dan Bylsma.

Michel Therrien's last match as a coach for the Penguins.
