Game 31: Red Wings @ Pittsburgh

Game 31: Red Wings @ Pittsburgh.

Sid's Out, But we still have Malkin!

Game 29: Penguins @ Philadelphia

Game 29: Penguins @ Philadelphia
Pens lose 2-3 against Flyers. Pens without Crosby, Letang, Michalek, Engelland, Lovejoy, Park. Then we have also Strait and Jeffrey out. Bortuzzo seems to be out with a Concussion after tonights game. 8.5 mil only for the injured D-men. Then 9.5 mil for Crosby, Park and Jeffrey. That shows you how valuble those injured D-men are. Pens did not die without a fight. Malkin got one goal and one assist and Fleury made some really great saves. Malkin is our Captain in O-ffence when Crosby is Injured and Fleury is our Captain in D-fence.

Let's Go Pens!

Game 28: Bruins @ Pittsburgh

Game 28: Bruins @ Pittsburgh.
Pens lose 1-3 against Bruins. Injuries Injuries Injuries. Story of the Pens last two years.

Game 27: Penguins @ Hurricanes

Game 27: Penguins @ Hurricanes
WOOOOOOOOO! PENS WIN 3-2 OVER HURRICANES! What a game for CFA Craig Fucking Adams. A goal and an assist for him plus the shotblocking from him in the end of the game. First Star of the game. Park, Orpik, Cooke, Dupuis and CFA were great on the PK unit. Goals from CFA, Asham and Dupuis. Malkin and Crosby got an assist each. Brent Johnson had a great game in net and a win in his 300th NHL Game.

Let's Go Pens!

Game 26: Penguins @ Washington

Game 26: Penguins @ Washington
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! PENS WIN! 2-1 OVER CAPITALS! "Remember when Carlson hit Crosby? Orpik remembers" Pens D-Fence were great. Simon Despres with an assist and his first NHL Point in his first NHL Game!. Chris Kunitz with the game-winner and Craig Fucking Adams with the first goal and one hell of a game!. Dale Hunter loses yet again to the Pens! Capitals had 4 of their 17 shots after the first period but those chances were deadly. But what happend in the third for the D-fence of Capitals? Arron Asham got the last laught tonight.

Let's take a look back. After all Arron got the last laugh.

Let's Go Pens!

Game 25: Penguins @ New York

Game 25: Penguins @ New York
Pens lose 4-3 against Rangers. Penguins started out really good but lost it when Rangers scored 3 straight goals in the second period. Malkin scored a goal at the end of the second period to make it 2-4 and Dupuis made it 3-4 early in the third period. But Penguins got 5 penalties in the last 10min of the game. Some were bullshit calles but that's hockey. Sometimes you get calls sometimes you draw penalties. Picard and Bortuzzo were really good. Crosby got 2 points. Looking forward to the next Rangers game. Next up. Losers vs. Losers. Penguins vs. Caps. LGP! ♥

Game 24 Penguins @ Montreal

Game 24: Penguins @ Montreal
LELELELELELELELELELELELELELELELETANG!!!!!!!! PENS WIN 4-3 IN OT OVER CANADIENS!. Pens got two goals disallowed and one of Canadiens goals came from a pass that hit the ref. Letang got elbowed in the face, nothing called. Comes back in OT with a bloody jersey and wins the game for the Penguins. The ref should have blown the whistle dead, but after every call that went against the Penguins i say it's justice. Malkin had one goal and one assist. Dupuis had a goal, Crosby gets a point, Staal with a VERY important goal to tie the game at three a piece and Letang with the Game-Winner in OT. WOO!

Game 23 Senators @ Pittsburgh

Game 23 Senators @ Pittsburgh
WOO! Pens win 6-3 over Senators!. Just another Malkin Crosby Show. Malkin was danling with the puck through every Senators player. Malkin got one goal and one assist. Crosby got tre assists in his third match back. 12 Penguins players got atleast a point tonight. Going to Montreal tomorrow to face Canadiens. LGP!

Game 22 Blues @ Pittsburgh

Game 22: Blues @ Pittsburgh
Pens lose 2-3 in OT against Blues. Malkin with two assists, Neal and Sully with a goal each and Orpik had one hell of a game. It was two really shitty periods (no pun intended) but Penguins bounced back in the 3rd period. But lost in the last min of OT. Still we got one point against a west team and that one point will be important in April.

Game 21: Islanders @ Pittsburgh

Game 21: Islanders @ Pittsburgh Video Edition!.

What a game!.

WOO! Pens win 5-0 over Islanders. Crosby's back!. It took Crosby 5 min in to the first period to score his first goal of the season in his comeback game after being out 11 months. Crosby got two assists in the game, one when he passed the puck to Orpik who ripped a great slapshot from the blueline in to the goal (Orpik's second goal in 4 games). And the second assist of Crosby came on the powerplay when he passed the puck to Letang, Letang slap-passed the puck to Malkin who was beside the net and shot it in, Malkin with a goal. Enough about Crosby for a min. Malkin scored a PP-Goal and made a beautiful pass to Sullivan who scored. Malkin went out with a goal and an assist. But Crosby did not end there. Crosby got another goal when he was having fun with the Islander defender Jurcina, he showed a bit of the Crosby vs. Spezza play Game 2 Playoffs 2010 and scored his second goal of the night. Fleury got the shutout!.

Crosby came out with 4p (2G 2A).
Dupuis came out with 3p (0G 3A).
Malkin came out with 2p (1G 1A).
Fleury came out with the shutout.

+
Michalek's back from injury and he was pretty great.
Crosby, Crosby, Crosby.
Dupuis got 3 assists and is top 30 scores in the NHL.
Malkin with a great game. One goal and a beautiful assist to Sullivan.
Fleury with 29 saves and got the shutout.
That fucking PP. Neal, Crosby, Sullivan, Malkin and Letang. OMG orgasm!

-
Nothing.

Game 20: Penguins @ Florida

Game 20: Penguins @ Florida.

Pens lose 2-3 against Panthers. Nothing more to say. They fought back and made it 2-2 but then lost the game after Weiss scored the game-winner.

CROSBY'S COMEBACK vs. Islanders!

How far have the penguins gone since the last update?

Been a long time since i updated. Now i'm back!.

Game 3 Penguins @ Edmonton
Pens lose 1-2 (1-1 in regulation) after SO against Oilers. No Malkin, No Crosby = No offence, like last year. Johnson was great in goal and Letang was all over the ice.
Game 4 Panthers @ Pittsburgh

Pens win 4-2 over Panthers!

Game 5 Capitals @ Pittsburgh
Pens lose 3-2 in OT against Craps. Still 1p. Malkin with magic everytime he had the puck. Asham with the Knockout of the Year
Game 6 Sabres @ Pittsburgh
Pens lose 2-3 against Sabres.
Game 7 Penguins @ Winnipeg
Pens lose 1-2 against Jets. Pens first period was pure shit. Rest of the game was really good but Pavelec was just to awesome in net.
Game 8 Penguins @ Minnesota
PENS WIN 4-2 OVER WILD! Tough fought game. Pens without Malkin, Crosby, Kennedy, Jeffrey and Orpik. Kunitz, Staal, Neal and Dupuis with goals.
Game 9 Canadiens @ Pittsburgh
PENS WIN 3-1 OVER CANADIENS! Pens find a way to win without Malkin, Crosby or Kennedy. Fleury with a great game!.
Game 10 Devils @ Pittsburgh
PENS WIN 4-1 OVER DEVILS! Staal with a two goal night and nearly got a Hat-Trick. Great Penguin Hockey!.
Game 11 Penguins @ Long Island
PENS WIN 3-0 OVER ISLANDERS! Fleury with a shutout. Park, Staal and Dupuis with goals.
Game 12 Islanders @ Pittsburgh
PENS WIN 3-2 AFTER SO OVER ISLANDERS! Penguins comeback in the last period. Being down two goals in the beginning of the third period then scoring two goals to make it 2-2. Flower was great in net for the Penguins (as he always is) and Malkin with the only goal in the shutout to win the game!.
Game 13 Penguins @ Toronto
Pens lose 3-4 against Maple Leafs. The game really looked like every Penguins @ Toronto game. Penguins a bunch of fighters playing without 6 injured players.
Game 14 Penguins @ San Jose
Pens lose 3-4 after SO against Sharks. Pens played really good until the last period. Fleury was awesome in net, Malkin with 3p. I would take one point at San Jose anyday of the week. Sharks are a strong home team.
Game 15 Penguins @ Los Angeles
PENS WIN 3-2 IN SO OVER KINGS! FLEURY, KUNITZ, LETANG. My hate for the Kings went from Kings who? to I want a rematch this season for those cheapshots!. But the question is Entertaining? O yes!
Game 16 Stars @ Pittsburgh

PENS WIN 3-1 OVER STARS! Neal with two powerplay goals and Cooke with a Penalty Shot scored the last goal to make it 3-1.

Game 17 Penguins @ Carolina

Pens lose 3-5 against Hurricanes. A comeback in the third period by the Pens who were down 0-3 but Hurricanes scored with 4 min left and then scored one more goal to win the game 5-3 against the Pens.

Game 18 Avalanche @ Pittsburgh

WOOOO!!! PENS WIN 6-3 OVER AVALANCHE! The whole f-ing team gets the first star by me. Creds to Matt Duchene (Colorado) with a great goal, but that only made Malkin hungrier for a nicer goal. Malkin's goal was INSANE!

Game 19 Penguins @ Tampa Bay
Pens lose 1-4 against the Lightning. That damn Roloson is too good and has been great against us. Niskanen vs. Stamkos was kind of fun and awesome that Roloson did not get the shutout! Thanks TK!

Game 1
October 6th
Pittsburgh @ Vancouver.

Penguins had a long off-season after losing three playoff matches in a row and being eliminated by the Lightning in Game 7 of the first round last season. They were hungry for win.

While Penguins where eliminated, The Canucks beat the Blackhawks in a Game 7 Overtime in the first round and went on to beat Nashville and San Jose to reach the Stanley Cup Final for the second time in franchise history. Last time they were in the Finals they lost to New York Rangers 3-2 in Game 7 1994. Fans were rioting in the streets of Vancouver that night.

17 years in the future. Stanley Cup Final 2011 Vancouver Canucks vs. Boston Bruins. Bruins who already had two game seven matches heading in to this series. After Bruins tied the Series 3-3 it was time for a Game 7 for the canucks this time, only diffrence. This one was in Vancouver. Vancouver lost Game 7 again. But this time they lost by 4-0. Fans were rioting again and it was like never before.

Canucks great playoff-run ended in a car crash. Under the off-season The Canucks lost one member of their roster. Rick Rypien, a 27 year old center for the team killed himself after battling depression for a while. The team was hungry for a win after losing Game 7 and want to give a tribute to Rick with a win. This wasen't going to be an easy game.

*Really great to get 2 points from the Stanley Cup Finalists.

-
*Penguins let the Canucks come back.

Preseason + Preview for Tonight.

It's been a long offseason for the Pens. But the Preseason looked really good.

Red Wings @ Pittsburgh 2-3
Blackhawks @ Pittsburgh 1-4
Wild @ Pittsburgh 1-4
Penguins @ Kansas City (Los Angeles Kings) 3-2 after SO.
Penguins @ Chicago 4-2
Penguins @ Detroit 2-3

Notes:

Malkin was a beast in the preseason, showing the world that The Malkin from 2009 is still in him and ready to explode. Malkin had 3g 3a in 4 games (He could have gotten more points in the Kings game but the game was not televised so we don't know if he got a point or not).

Joe Morrow was insane. I still remember when Shero drafted Morrow draft day. I was hoping for him to draft the German player that had a really great season in the german league. But then i heard him draft again a Defender for the second year in a row. But damn he showed everyone he was ready to play in the NHL. The games he really shined where against the Red Wings and Wild. He was insane on the Powerplay against the Wild. Him and Letang will become deadly when he comes back to play in the NHL. But for now he will be playing college hockey.

I really like Joe Vitale under the Preseason, he was playing for a spot in the team and got it after the preseason. He's a more scoring version of Craig Adams in my opinion.

Penguins were pretty damn good under the Preseason. Five wins in six games and the Pens let in fewer then three goals in the five of the six games.
-------

NHL's BACK!. Season 2011-2012 is only hours away.

Penguins are in Vancouver to face the Canucks. A Canucks team that lost the Stanley Cup Game 7 Final at home in a 4-0 loss and a Canucks team that are still sad about Rick Rypien who passed away in the offseason.

The Canucks are a hungry bunch that really wants to win after everything that went down last season. But so are the Penguins.

It's going to be a really tough game.
"IT'S A GREAT DAY FOR HOCKEY!" - Badger Bob Johnson.

I was sitting on my sofa with a Penguins home jersey on me, a Dr.Pepper in my hand, a terrible towel beside me and watching some great hockey.

First Period:

1:25 min in, Lightning got the puck to the Penguins side of the ice, Stamkos has the puck skating around beside the boards when Brooks Orpik comes and gives him some free candy with a great hit and it made the whole arena go wild! First Round Predictions of the NHL 2011 Playoffs!

Me and my friends have been predicting the first round of the playoffs.

Let's see who we can give money to predict for us or to the person that will not be getting any money to predict for.

PLAYOFF TIME!

East

1. Capitals vs. 8. Rangers

It's now or never for the Capitals. Capitals, improved their D-Fence and are playing more like a team and not putting the team on Ovie's back, But Washington has had a problem with the number 7. They have gone to 4 straight game 7's and only won one of them. If Capitals are going to win this series they will have help Ovie get back on his groove. If the Rangers are going to have chance to win they have to watch out for the giveaways because the Capitals have some deadly players like Ovie, Backström and Semin. Lundqvist has to keep on playing like he did in the season. I will go out and bet that Lundqvist helps Rangers win after 7 games.

Niklas : Rangers in 7 games
Elina : Capitals in 6 games
Lovisa : Capitals in 6 games
Robert Ö : Capitals in 5 games
Marcus : Capitals in 5 games
Mathias : Capitals in 6 games
Jonathan : Rangers in 7 games
Michelle : Capitals in 6 games
Robert : Capitals in 5 games

2. Flyers vs. 7. Sabres

Niklas : Flyers in 6 games
Elina : Flyers in 5 games
Lovisa : Flyers in 6 games
Robert Ö : Sabres in 5 games
Marcus : Flyers in 7 games
Mathias : Flyers in 7 games
Jonathan : Flyers in 5 games
Michelle : Flyers in 5 games
Robert : Sabres in 7 games

3. Bruins vs. 6. Canadiens

Niklas : Bruins in 7 games
Elina : Canadiens in 7 games
Lovisa : Bruins in 7 games
Robert Ö : Bruins in 6 games
Marcus : Bruins in 4 games
Mathias : Canadiens in 7 games
Jonathan : Canadiens in 6 games
Michelle : Bruins in 7 games
Robert : Bruins in 6 games

4. Penguins vs. 5. Lightning

Penguins are going to play most of the series without Crosby, So they lose their best playoff guy. But if the Penguins can keep the groove that they had in the late parts of the Season then it can be a quite interesting series. Fleury is the man to guide the Pens to the next round, he has been the teams MVP this year. Lightning have finally gotten that Playoff spot that they missed the last 3 years. They are out to get the cup again. A team that has Stamkos, St. Louis and Lecavalier are always deadly. Pens has better D-Fence and Goaltending, while the Lightning has a great O-Fence and a pretty good Powerplay. So i will go out and say that Pens win in 6 games.

Niklas : Penguins in 6 games
Elina : Penguins in 7 games
Lovisa : Ligthning in 7 games
Robert Ö : Penguins in 6 games
Marcus : Penguins in 5 games
Mathias : Penguins in 6 games
Jonathan : Penguins in 7 games
Michelle : Penguins in 7 games
Robert: Lightning in 5 games

West

1. Canucks vs. 8. Blackhawks

Canucks was the best team in the league this season, most of it was thx to the Sedin's. Canucks really wants to win this one and say to Chicago that they can win a Playoff Series against them after losing two straight series against them. Chicago has lost a lot of the players they had last two times they faced the Canucks in the Playoffs. So i think that Canucks will win in 6 games.

Niklas : Canucks in 6 games
Elina : Canucks in 6 games
Lovisa : Canucks in 7 games
Robert Ö : Canucks in 4 games
Marcus : Canucks in 4 games
Mathias : Canucks in 5 games
Jonathan : Blackhawks in 7 games
Michelle : Canucks in 5 games
Robert : Canucks in 5 games

2. Sharks vs. 7. Kings

Niklas : Sharks in 5 games
Elina : Sharks in 5 games
Lovisa : Sharks in 4 games
Robert Ö : Sharks in 5 games
Marcus : Sharks in 6 games
Mathias : Kings in 6 games
Jonathan : Sharks in 6 games
Michelle : Sharks in 6 games
Robert : Shark In 4 games

3. Redwings vs. 6. Coyotes

Coyotes are out for revenge after last years playoff series against the Wings. Wings, They have been showing a playoff spirit the last 5 season games. If the Wings keep on with the playoff spirit they will easily go past this round, but i don't think so. I think that Coyotes will win in 7 games.

Niklas : Coyotes in 7 games
Elina : Redwings in 6 games
Lovisa : Redwings in 6 games
Robert Ö : Redwings in 6 games
Marcus : Redwings in 4 games
Mathias : Redwings in 5 games
Jonathan : Redwings in 7 games
